Robert Joseph Peterson Sr.

Peterson, Robert Joseph, Sr. Age 53 Of White Bear Lake Passed peacefully at home on July 17, 2009 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Preceded in death by father, James. Survived by wife, Julie; children, Jimmy and Bobby Peterson and Tanya (Matt Sather) and Chad (Emily) Anderson; mother Eleanor Peterson; brothers, Ray (Teri), Mark, Bill (Colleen). Memorial service Wed. July 22, 2009 at 11AM, at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 1965 E. County Rd. E., White Bear Lake. Visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials preferred.

Husband, father, friend and colleague, BOB PETERSON, has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. There are few in the fire service whose lives were not touched by Bob in some way.

Bob has devoted his life to protecting and serving as a:

Loyal and loved veteran of the White Bear Lake Fire Dept. as a paramedic for 25 years and firefighter for 20+ years

Devoted Deputy Bailiff with the Washington County Sheriff’s Dept. for 14 years

Member of State Fair Police Dept. four years

Charter member of The Red Knights MN#4 motorcycle club

Bob’s loving and supportive family includes his wife of 11 years, Julie, and four children: Chad (29) and wife, Emily; Tanya (27) and boyfriend, Matt, Jimmy (16); and Bobby (9). These people give Bob much love and lots of laughs.

Bob has taken his love for fire fighting and helping people to the Hennepin Technical College classroom where, for the past 20 years, he has shared his knowledge and pride of being a fire fighter.
